Pool Cleaning and Maintenance Tips that you Should Try Once

Making your pool clean and clear is not as difficult as you might think. The design of all pools is different and hence, requires different maintenance techniques. But, all these caring methods have one similarity: the secret of a sparkling clean pool is regular care and proper cleaning methods. In the lack of proper pool cleaning and maintenance, your pool could be exposed to a group of problems like algae build-up, murky water, broken pumps etc. Therefore, in order to evade such circumstances, swimming pool cleaning on a weekly or monthly basis is important.

Here is a list of few tips helpful in pool cleaning and maintenance:-

Remove Remains of waste from your Pool
Use stainless steel anchors and try to excavate debris of unwanted material from your swimming pool.

Cleaning of Pool Pumps and Filters
Remove all the rubbles that might have choked your pool pump basket. Also, keep checking your pool filters on a regular basis as with time it becomes ineffective.

Maintenance of the Water Line
Keeping the water line clean is of utmost importance during the maintenance of your swimming pool.

Add Chlorine to the Pool Water
Chlorinating your pool removes all forms of algae that might have formed on the walls and grounds of the swimming pool. ‘Shock a pool’ with chlorine-infused water becomes important in the process of removing algae deposits.

Check the balance of water
Chlorinating your pool is an important step in swimming pool cleaning. However, that works only when the pH of the water remains between 7.2 and 7.6 respectively. Alkaline level should be maintained between 80-120ppm. It is important to consult the manufacturer’s manual before you mix any chemicals in the water.

Create Vacuums
A vital step in cleaning your pool is Vacuuming. For this, fill the pool tube with water of the swimming pool and keep the same tube in the skimmer holding the basket. Complete the process of vacuuming by joining the whole cleaning tool together.

Clean the surroundings
With the help of a brush apply chlorine solutions on the walls and surfaces of the swimming pool and wash off all kind of waste with a splash of water. Make sure you do it while wearing coveralls and gloves as chlorine drops might be harmful for your body.
